The first Dreadnought barrel guitar launched by Washburn in 1912 has always been synonymous with high-quality craftsmanship and has been favored by many Delta blues guitarists for its outstanding playing ability and extraordinary sound. The name "Washburn" became the first choice of famous artists such as Jimmy Page, Bob Dylan and Nuno Bettencourt when rock music swept the United States.
